1. Connect your wallet
Connect an EVM wallet using the Connect Wallet button. The production app uses BOT Chain mainnet (Chain ID 677). You need BOT to pay network fees. The app never asks for your private key or seed phrase.
2. Register your product
Enter its name, brand, category, serial number, purchase date and warranty duration in days. Dates start at midnight UTC. Choose the terms from your original receipt; the app does not verify them with the manufacturer.
Serial numbers and other registered fields are public and permanent. Do not include your personal address, phone number, invoice containing personal information or other private details.
3. Upload a product photo
Choose a PNG, JPEG or WebP image up to 3 MB. Preview your photo and replace it if needed. The app uploads the image and saves your product details automatically; no storage links or metadata files are required.
Approve the upload with a free wallet signature, then confirm the registration transaction. Uploaded photos are public, so avoid images containing personal information. If image uploads are temporarily unavailable, try again later or contact support.
4. Mint and view
Review the details and confirm the transaction in your wallet. After the transaction succeeds, the app links to your Warranty Detail page. If the wallet does not automatically show the NFT, import it using the registry contract address and token ID.
What happens when the warranty expires?
The status changes to Expired when the onchain expiry timestamp is reached. Your NFT remains in your wallet. Expiration does not delete the product or its ownership record.
What does the NFT prove?
It proves that a wallet registered the displayed record. It does not independently prove possession of a physical product, product authenticity, a purchase, or a manufacturer’s warranty commitment. Different wallets may record the same physical serial; those claims are unverified.
Can I transfer it or claim tokens?
No. Transfers are disabled in this phase, including direct contract transfers. Warranty Transfer, Second-hand Marketplace, Brand Verification, Repair Records, Insurance and Merchant API are marked Coming Soon. No Warranty Protocol Token is issued.
